The Best Cinnamon Streusel Muffins

Our cinnamon streusel muffins perfectly balance the warm spices, tender crumb, and delectable streusel topping.

All purpose flour Baking powder Baking soda Salt Ground cinnamon Ground nutmeg Ground cloves Unsalted butter Granulated sugar Eggs Vanilla extract Whole milk

In a large mixing bowl sift and whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground cloves.


In a separate bowl, or bowl of your stand mixer, add the granulated sugar and softened butter. Cream together until light and fluffy.


Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.


Mix in the dry ingredients and milk, alternating between the two until the muffin batter is smooth and well combined.


Prepare the cinnamon crumb topping


Fill the muffin cups about 2/3 full with the muffin batter. Sprinkle a generous amount of the crumbly topping over each muffin.


Bake the muffins for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into moist muffins in the center comes out clean, and the tops are golden brown.
